Iranian Journal of Ophthalmology (ISSN 1735-4153), the official journal of the Iranian Society of Ophthalmology, was founded in 1969 and publishes original peer-reviewed reports of research in ophthalmology and visual sciences, including basic science investigations and clinical studies. Iranian Journal of Ophthalmology also publishes major reviews of specific topics by acknowledged authorities. The society and the editorial board accept no responsibility for any statements published in this journal.
